Ichi Ni has taken it’s place alongside neighbouring St. Kilda institutions with it’s unique design and central location.
Providing a casual and lively dining atmosphere, Ichi Ni offers an extensive menu, specialising in both modern and traditional Japanese cuisine that caters to all tastes; yakitori, sushi, sashimi and tapas, complimented by an extensive beverage list with views overlooking Port Phillip Bay.
Bookings for large groups within the restaurant ‘among shared vibes’ as well as private functions are available to suit any occasion or corporate booking.

GROUP DINING IN THE RESTAURANT
TABLE LOCATION – Seated within our shared public dining areas (see below for ‘Private Functions’ within exclusive spaces).
BOOKING DURATION – Sitting times applied upon booking of two hours.
MENUS – Bookings of up to 12 guests can order from our full a la carte menu or our set banquet menu at $75pp. Bookings of 13 guests or more must have the set menu at $75pp with dietary requirements catered at chef’s selection, with notice. Click here to view our menus.
BEVERAGES – Beverages are charged on consumption, at bar prices served to the table.
CONFIRMATION – Upon making a booking, your credit card details are ‘captured’ to secure your booking, accepting the ‘cancellation’ policy. Full payment will be required on the day of your booking.
FUNCTIONS IN A PRIVATE SPACE
PRIVATE ROOM – An exclusive space ‘just to yourselves’! Choose from the ‘Mezzanine’, ‘Inside-Decking’ or ‘Outdoor-Decking’. The entire venue is also bookable.
NUMBER OF GUESTS – Depending on your preferred set up, our private spaces can accommodate up to 60 guests ‘seated’… more for ‘standing’ style events. You can also hire the entire venue, including our ‘Outdoor-Decking’ with bay views for a ‘standing’ style event wedding or corporate party for up to 300 guests.
MENUS – Private bookings are required to dine from a set menu with dietary requirements catered at chef’s selection. Tailored set menus are also available subject to additional costs with notice. Click here to view our menus
BEVERAGES – Set hourly ‘Beverage Packages’ or beverages charged on ‘Consumption’ are both available, served to the table. Essentially, it is about meeting your minimum spend.
MINIMUM SPEND & VENUE HIRE – Food and beverage minimum spends are tailored based on the function duration, function space and date (peak season vs. off-peak season) and may be subject to additional venue hire.
CONFIRMATION – A deposit is required along with a signed contract to confirm your function. Full payment will be required seven days prior to your booking. Terms & Conditions apply.
